It was a lovely winter wedding for Lisa & Darrell at the Ancaster Old Mill on December 27, 2008. We started taking photos at Lisa’s house while she was getting ready and then I jumped in the limo with the bridal party while Justin followed behind us in our car. It was a fun ride to the Ancaster Old Mill, which was beautiful throughout. One of the sweetest moments of the day was when Darrell saw Lisa for the first time, and they both got teary in the moment…it was so touching!

Once upon a time, on a very rainy night in Toronto, Jennifer and Andre got married. It was November 15, 2008 and I was shooting what was to be one of the last weddings of 2008.
Jennifer and a few from the bridal party, along with her mum, got ready in the always gorgeous King Edward hotel on King St. We had a window of exactly 15 minutes to take formal photos in the King Eddie, which we did very quickly! I explored a bit and found that upstairs would be most suitable for the bridal portraits.
After we left the King Edward hotel in POURING rain, we went up the road to the Rosewater Room (a.k.a. The Rosewater Supper Club). What a gorgeous venue! And the lighting was ideal for a romantic evening ceremony. Check out all the pics below! P.S. Jennifer is about 7 months pregnant, and she had such a gorgeous wedding gown that fit her shape perfectly. It was so flattering! I mention this because one of my favourite images is Andre beding over to listen to Jennifer’s tummy. It was such a sweet moment.

Wow – one of the coolest couples Justin and I have ever had the pleasure to work with – Kristen and Gerry sure knew how to have fun on their big day! They had their wedding ceremony and reception in a barn in Milton (although it didn’t look like a barn – whoever decorated for them did a gorgeous job) and it was a real party, conga line and all!

Despite the fact that it was mid-October, we had wonderful weather for Pauline and Brandon’s wedding. It was a little chilly but also sunny, which made our formals photo session outdoors pretty comfortable.
This couple was awesome to work with – so cool and just really sweet people! You could tell how happy they were on their wedding day – especially when Brandon gave a speech that I’m sure brough tears to many eyes!
Pauline and Brandon’s wedding photography took place at Markham Museum, then we moved onto the Shangri-La Banquet Hall for the ceremony and dinner.
P.S. Check out the ‘Wonder Twins’ pic below, LOL

Wow…these guys were so much fun! The bride Sandra was hilarious to work with – she was a total natural and both she and her new husband Jason had so much fun in front of the camera. We had gorgeous weather – it was super sunny – and I got tons of pics I just loved…check ‘em out!

On August 23, 2008, Dianne and Patrick had a gorgeous wedding ceremony at the side of a lake up in Collingwood, Ontario. It was a sweltering hot day, but the breeze off the lake made it feel comfortable.
These guys were so much fun to shoot and were really into nature and happy get their hands (or feet) dirty! One of my fave shots is that of the groomsmen actually rolling up their pant legs and posing for their portraits IN the lake!

Robyn and Richard had a beautiful wedding at the Old Mill last Friday. We had beautiful weather and Richard’s family flew in from England (his homeland) for the ceremony. Here are some of my favourite images:

It was only light showers in the afternoon for Janne & Richard who had a small and beautiful ceremony at a charming restaurant in downtown Toronto. Despite the weather, the bride and groom were glowing and luckily their good friend Amy was there to lend a hand with a strategically placed umbrella (check out the pic below).

Wow, it was a gorgeous outdoor wedding at LaSalle Park for Sean and Leah!

On May 9th, the weather was perfect, and the bridal party was lively. I almost fell off a chair while shooting the formals, but I recovered (thank god) and didn’t fall.
