I had the pleasure of shooting a family portrait last weekend for Tracy and her entire family. She had seen my work and had contacted me because she wanted natural, fun lifestyle family portraits. The whole family dressed smart casual, coordinating in white, which had a very cool look. The kids were an absolutely great time, and me (and Justin) had lots of fun shooting with them! Check out this pic of Justin getting “attacked” by a couple of the kids – priceless!

Most people think that we can only do family portraits during the spring, summer and fall, when the weather’s beautiful. Not so!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! I decided to get my mom Ann and little brother James to come out to take some photos for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, and to take advantage of one of the last nice weekends we are going to have this year. That, and James is growing like a weed (he turned 3 years old in July) and I want to keep taking loads of pics of him as I know he’ll be so different by this time next year!
The colours I was able to capture were just awesome…we just drove down Guelph Line in Burlington, ON and around the area and stoppped along the side of the road in front of some pastures, and even found a little apple tree. Check out the shots below!

I had the pleasure of meeting Ceilidh’s family and doing a portrait session with them today. They were so much fun and we had quite a few laughs together! I couldn’t have asked for nicer clients…oh and I just LOVE the pics with the pinwheels!

First off, let me say sorry for not posting this sooner! Business is booming, which is great, but it also means I have lots of work happening all at the same time. I also have 2 weddings and 2 boudoir shoots to post soon, so keep an eye out for those. In the meantime, here’s some select images from Mike and Melissa’s family portrait.
On August 24th, 2008, I had the pleasure of shooting Mike and Melissa’s family portrait (actually, Mike was Aaron and Jen’s best man; a couple whose wedding I shot a few years ago…also, I recently shot their family portrait with their daughter Harper). Aaron and Jen kindly recommended me to Mike and his wife Melissa and so we headed to the Humber Arboretum to do some lifestyle family portraits of them with their two adorable little boys.
The main thing Mike and Melissa wanted out of the session was a shot of their two little boys smiling together…well we got several! They were awesome kids, and so full of energy I got a good workout that afternoon running after them! LOL

Sorry it’s taken me a little longer than usual to get these shots posted…I’ve been SO busy shooting lately (it is my busy season of course, so if you have a wedding coming up next summer be sure to book soon!)
I had the pleasure of attending Sudha and Clevin’s engagement ceremony/party on August 16th with my assistant Justin. There were lots of friends and family in attendance and I did a combination of candids and posed portraits for the happy couple!

Hi guys,
The other day I went up to Northern Ontario with my mom, step dad and little brother James. As many of you know, James just turned 3 years old, and I used it as an opportunity to take some new images of him. We spent one day at Santa’s Village in Bracebridge, and then a day at the beach in Huntsville. Here are some of my favourite images from our mini vacation.

Hey guys,
It’s been a busy weekend, but a really fun one. I had the pleasure of shooting a family portrait for former wedding clients of mine Jen and Aaron.

Shortly after the wedding they got pregnant with their first child Harper Lily, who is such a gorgeous baby! I’d have to say I got my best shots while lying on the ground while she crawled toward the camera to “get” me, haha.
